She'd been a Tremblant cottage craft for many years and with each passing year saw less of the lake and more of the underside of the cottage. In the summer of 2003 Laurie Forbes decided it was time to set her free. An old trailer dragged from the bush behind the New Edinburough club served as transport for the yet to be named craft and it wasn’t long before she was returned to the waters of Lac des Chene (BYC stickers still intact).

Her original sails didn’t make it through that first season, her original centerboard had been repaired once too often and her infamous beavertail rudder, a wonder to admire, serves better on the workshop wall then behind the boat. She’s not the fastest but she’s got perseverance.
